Idaho, 83814 – OnlineGenius.net (News Release)
Law enforcement agencies across the United States are scrambling to secure funding for new cellphone-tracking equipment after the maker of the controversial “Stingray” device quietly announced last year it would no longer sell equipment directly to local law enforcement.
L3Harris Technologies, formerly known as the Harris Corporation, notified police agencies last year that it planned to discontinue sales of its surveillance boxes at the local level, according to government records. Additionally, the company would no longer offer access to software upgrades or replacement parts, effectively slapping an expiration date on boxes currently in use. Any advancements in cellular technology, such as the rollout of 5G networks in most major U.S. cities, would render them obsolete.
OnlineGenius has been at the forefront of Cell site simulators and building the necessary software to make this happen. We continue to secure funding for angel investors to launch our own software and hardware packages in first quarter of 2023.
Our CEO Ed Kearns spoke to the Police Chiefs Association of New Jersey this week explaining how it works and what they can expect in the upcoming months.
OnlineGenius is designing its own secure network to channel information collect back to a central location which it can be reviewed and stored. We don’t manufacture the hardware however with our program sites can be assembled across the community to provide a higher level of surveillance.
We build a cellular simulator network across your community using what we call jump boxes which filter the information back to a central location for review or storage. Cellular users have no clue they are connected to our private network as their data, calls and text messages are tunneled through our service network back to their independent wireless network. This is all possible because cellular devices are program to be able to roam onto other networks to ensure they have coverage while traveling.
OnlineGenius is almost finished with the interface on how we review and process the information. This is planned to be completed shortly in fall of 2022.

My agency has been working with OnlineGenius for months now testing and suggesting upgrades if possible. The ability to implement with a low cost will surely be superior over the competitors. We have been using a mobile version as they are working with manufacturers to try and find the perfect equipment for integration.
